ICE is the trading name for Insolvency Consultancy Experts Limited. Ice is an Insolvency Consultancy Company that specialises in Company Voluntary Arrangements nationwide. Although the company is based in Doncaster, clients are nationwide, with probably 80% based south of Watford.
Everything is internet based as are Creditor Meetings which are virtual, which has simplified the CVA process tremendously. However, Ice has a client friendly office and receive clients there every week mainly because some clients, understandably, like to meet the people that are going to save their business. ICE often is suspicious of those companies that send consultants to visit clients at 90mph and “sleep on the couch” until a contract is signed. You would not get solicitors doing that!

Fastspeed is an Administration processing business that interfaces between Insolvency Consultants such as ICE and the appointed Insolvency Practitioners, mainly on Company Voluntary Arrangement Proposals.
The challenging chasing of documentation for CVA proposals is the starting function of Fastspeed, followed by the collation of the documents and their interpretation.
Fastspeed is then responsible for the production of cashflow projections for Company Voluntary Arrangements for clients.

A Company Voluntary Arrangement cannot be finalised without the assistance of a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner that has a Duty of Care both to the Director of the company proposing the CVA and the creditors of that company.
Fastspeed instructs the appropriate Insolvency Practitioner on behalf of the client and provides all of the information that the Insolvency Practitioner needs to file the CVA proposal in Court and distribute to the creditors that are listed in the CVA Proposal. The Insolvency Practitioner in this instance is called the “Nominee”. Upon acceptance of the CVA by the creditors, the title is changed to “Supervisor”. Ice will also remain a point of contact for the client during the whole of the CVA period.
