Company Tax Debt

Company Tax Debt

You would be very unlucky to receive a winding up petition today for company tax debt.  But strange things can happen on Friday the 13th!  They say that bad luck comes in threes but on Friday the 13th the normal does not apply.  Some people refuse to drive on Friday the 13th whilst a few stay in bed all day.  Such is their superstition.

Don’t sleep with your head to the west. Getting a haircut on Tuesdays is bad. Walk under a ladder will bring bad luck. Open umbrellas indoors and you’ll be in trouble. You may think that all these are daft but you will have crossed your fingers for good luck many times in your life.

Getting out of company tax debt will always need an element of luck.  It may be lucky to secure funding or some fast sales. A generous deal with HMRC would be very lucky.  Maybe a Company Voluntary Arrangement needs a bit of luck in persuading HMRC to vote in favour for acceptance to reduce the company tax debt.

Some people think that they are unlucky because they have never won the lottery.  Perhaps they never bought a ticket!  That’s the same with life.  The harder you work the luckier you get. If you want to get somewhere then you need to keep your sail up.

Take Action Now

When sorting out any debt issues it is important to be pro active and make the first moves rather than waiting for creditors to take action against your company.  If a winding up petition is issued then your company bank account may be frozen followed by your company being wound up.  All because you didn’t take the first steps.

If you want to get rid of your company tax debt then Knock on wood or call Directors Circle on 020 3319 6335.
